Paris, 30th August 2024 – Bhutan took part in the Paris Paralympic Games, with Ms. Kinley Dem representing the country in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle event.
Her Royal Highness Princess Eeuphelma Choden Wangchuck, alongside the Bhutanese delegation, attended to support Kinley, showcasing the nation’s backing of its para-athletes as they strive for greatness.
Kinley demonstrated impressive skill and perseverance, particularly excelling in the first three rounds of her event. She fought hard for a prized spot among the top eight athletes moving on to the Final round.
With a score of 616.8 points, she secured 10th place out of 17 elite para-athletes from across the globe—an outstanding accomplishment for Bhutan on the international stage. While her journey in this event ended here, her uplifting performance has filled the nation with pride.
