We are thrilled to announce a momentous achievement for both the Federation and our nation as Kinley Dem, representing Bhutan, showcased remarkable talent and determination at the Changwon WSPS World Cup held on April 25th, 2024, in South Korea.
Kinley Dem’s journey throughout the competition was nothing short of extraordinary. With an impressive score of 618.8 out of 654, she not only secured her place in the final top 8 but also demonstrated her exceptional skill by qualifying successfully in the qualification round.
Facing stiff competition from 16 participants representing 12 different countries, Kinley’s performance truly impressed. Competing in the SH1 R2 category, she proved herself as a strong contender, securing the 4th position in the final elimination round, coming very close to winning the bronze medal.
This remarkable accomplishment marks one of Kinley Dem’s personal best performances on the international stage, highlighting her incredible talent and dedication.
The Bhutan Shooting Federation warmly congratulates Kinley Dem for her outstanding achievement and Coach Dawa Lham for providing unwavering support to Kinley throughout the competition.
